I just hatched 4 button quails and 8 coturnix. They seems to be getting along. I bought these little hamster houses and I see that the button quails seem to like them more than the coturnix. Thinking that's their hideout. 😆
Hello @_HobbyFarmer_, I'm getting ready to move to Luzerne County, PA. I've been trying to find in the county ordinance about chickens but can't seem to find anything. Are backyard chickens allowed on the county? I'll be relocating to Wapwallopen.
That's wonderful!! I like that area but it's too far from work. :( I'm willing to drive out 2 hours max at least for now since they have me coming in the office twice a week because of COVID.
I've moved from DC, to Brooklyn, NY, to PA and no matter where you go, there's always something bad going on. I just usually keep to myself and thankfully never had any problems. Especially in DC, MD & NY

I went ahead and got myself a small group of chickens. I've had them for months now and my neighbors don't even have a clue. I keep the coop clean and they are thankfully really quiet. I've been looking for others to help me change the ordinance here. It is old and outdated.
Hello everyone and thanks for welcoming me to your group. Like many people during this health crisis, I started feeling really depressed and it was starting to affect my work and relationship at home. I luckily came across a coworker's hatchery on Instagram. She had the cutest little baby...
