    Golden Polish Roosters Portland OR.

Unfortunately we can't keep them till July. But if a chicken fairy adventure can be arranged things might work.

    Golden Polish Roosters Portland OR.

Thanks! That's part of why we really want to find a home not pot for them. But with 10 other roosters things are a bit crowded.

    Golden Polish Roosters Portland OR.

Our local humane society got a call from a donor that had a pair of small gold chickens show up in his yard and wanted them gone. We were called and went over to find that he had a pair of roosters that had "escaped" from the neighbors. They had brought them home the day before and it appeares...

    Little Giant Automatic Water Bowl

We love the Little Giant and have all three sizes. Easy to clean since we have them hanging from rubber hoses. Just swirl the dirt and dump it out and walk away. No toting water! Time to Euthanize..??.. need moral support and advice...

When the vet isn't an option what I have found safest (for all involved) is either a pair of very good hand pruning shears (I like having more leverage than the kitchen scissors I have) or for adults a sharp pair of pruning loppers. That way I am not swinging sharp blades while I am distressed...

Should I get Grow Gel Plus & Quik Chik? Chick Grit? What do you use?

For the last three years we take care of any chicks that have issues at our local feed store. All the chicks they get are shipped. Last year we ended up not returning about ~130 and only ~20 that died during the 8 weeks of getting in 200 - 300 chicks a week (the week of the extra 500 roosters...
