Well floks I got a incubator from my grandpa.....and he hadis since he was 20 something...its a sears and roebuck farm master model 228 7351 .. The attached pic is of a switch that i dont know what it does..i have a good understanding of it all..except that lol....can someone help please

Yeah I have only one bulb on a stat well I cut 2 holes in the incubator and did the pill bottle thing now every thing is working just fine the temp is stating at between 98.8 and 100 degrees but my humidity is still only at 50% and I have 2 pans pc water in it now with a sponge in each one...

i have been reading for weeks now on the site and still have not come across a answer to one question that i have and that question is how to raise the humidity in the incubator for the last 3 days i know that this may be a silly question to some but i feel that its important
we have a ton of pine trees around our house so we use the free resources that mother nature gave us and use the pine needles and leaves from trees in the whole coop and it does a great job of collecting the droppings too then i just come in with the ole pitch fork and clean it all out at one...

hello i dont know if this will help in your situation but i use a bucket to water my chickens and i use a bird bath heater to keep the water from freezing it keeps the water about 40 to 50 degrees and will turn off when it runs out of water i hope this helped
