    I give mine a layer feed from tractor supply company (TSC) a brand called Dumor it already has calcium and other goodies in it. Therefore oyster shells are not necessary Southern States doesn't offer a feed like it as far as I know. Dave from MD

    Are Red Tail Hawks known to prey on full size chickens

    I don't want to stop them from free ranging but I do have a couple that live nearby. Also about 1 mile away live a pair of Bald Eagles but they seem to stay near a large lake.
