I got 2 bsl 3 BO 2 EE 2 BR all except the Bsl are a year old the bsl hatched this spring and stated laying early august end of Sept they all stoped laying I had a BR rooster with them but he found a new home he was pretty mean I have yet to.see a egg I even mix chick starter with layer pellets...
i went to the local trade day today in search for a naked neck roo with no luck but did find 2 really nice white nn pullets one with a bowtie and the other is more naked and a easter egger roo. If i use this roo on these hens would the offspring inherit the naked neck gene?
I bought 4 hens about a month ago 2 barred rocks 2 Easter eggers the ee's where missing feathers on their backs so figured they where over crowded they where in a 5x5 pen and it was probably 20 hens they have yet to lay a egg their feathers are almost all the way back the barred rocks arnt...
The other day I stopped by our local feed store and notice they had 3 roosters about 6 months old I could tell in the dark coop one was a barred rock so I went in and asked he said one barred Rock and two partridge rocks I bought the barred rock put him in a box didn't really look at him got...

you can retrain him i raise and train coon dogs and curs and even trained a heeler or 2 all of my dogs at one point of time would kill any small furry or feather animals now i can leave em alone with anything other than coons and they wont touch it i have a couple of hounds now who at one point...

built this sunday cost me around 15 bucks its going to house 5 teenagers
I'm building a coop/run/tractor the coop it self will be 6x6 maybe 6x8 the run will be 16ft long 6ft tall either 6ft or 8ft wide and I will be able to move it around. How many chickens could a coop like this house and everyone be Comftorable.
coon are super smart theres one been getting in my nieghbors humingbird feeders i put a trap out he stretches out in the trap trips the door eats the bait backs out and rolls the trap down the hill then goes after the humingbird feeders got it all on my game camera best way to catch one like...
everyone says raising chicks are harder and all these things can go wrong so what did i do got 13 day old rir 5 day old ee's 4 day old br and 2 guinea fowl there the most easiest thing to raise just give em heat clean water plenty of food and they do the rest wish raising my other animal babies...
you can build a relatively nice coop yourself for way less than that i just built a couple to house 35 hens cost me around 150 bucks in material and a day to build it its not the fanciest looking coop but it works and there happy if i can build something anyone can there are plenty plans around...
