Thanks! Her comb is not big enough to flop over so don't know if it's pea. Haven't seen her leopard spotted hackles before. She came from McMurray Rarest of Rare Breeds.

I too love home schoolers--I'm a Montessori teacher and we share views! I also do family counseling and one of my first recommendations is daily and consistent chores for children through which they gain responsibility and self-worth. Chickens are great for this! Have fun!
