I can't upload my photos

It's saying ERROR: Wrong filetype (has to be a .JPEG, .PNG or .GIF). Yours is:

Mine are JPEG as always....hmmmm.

Welcome! I understand that if you are new you must have a certain number of posts before you can share your photos-but your uploads should work!

try .jpg instead of .jpeg perhaps and see if that helps.

Well I've never had this problem before. Been here over 4 years and all my pics are .jpg. Mod help??

Only some of my photos were uploading. The unsuccessful ones were dimensions of 4000 x 3000 that's why. I resized them on my computer first to 640 x480 and then uploaded them to BYC. So if anyone here is having problems resize first before attempting to upload.
