I forgot to say that the sick silkie can stand up but once she tries to walk she falls down. She has been drinking but she hasnt eaten much.

I will deworm them but first Im probably gonna treat the sick one with Duramycin. I need the dosage for that from Suebee. Im getting some sevins dust as well and Im gonna treat the entire coop with it because my new hampshires havent been treated for mites either.

Im sorry, I didnt see your reply. My silkies are almost1 1/2 years old. They have started laying eggs but they havent laid eggs recently. I havent treated them for lice or mites and I havent ever dewormed them. There is no blood in their poop. Thanks for helping!

Thank you so much for replying! She has been making greenish brown droppings for several months but the other symptoms have come recently. They havent laid eggs in awhile. Suebee said to use antibiotics. What antibiotic should I use?

I guess I will just let the poor thing die because I cant get any help from this forum.

Should I mix tetracycline into their water or food? And, how long do I treat them?

Is this hen sick? She sneezes at least once every 5 minutes, shakes her head, scratches her ear area using her middle toe and sometimes I can hear her breathing like her nose is plugged up. Other than that she looks and acts fine. I'm not sure if she's sick or not.

The nest boxes are in the wall of the coop, so they don't take up any space inside.

They are full sized New Hampshire Reds.

I'm fixin to pick up some more chickens but don't know how many I should get for my coop size. I currently have 3 chickens. they have a very large run and a coop that is about 4' by 3' and 4' tall with 4 nesting boxes. How many more do you think would comfortably fit in the coop?

It looks like it but instead of expelling it every 8-10 droppings, it's all she poops. No solid droppings.

I'm worried about one of my hens. Her poop is runny and yellow and its been like that ever since I started feeding them grow and developer feed. What is causing this and what should I do?
