    I would watch for infection. If I thought it started to go bad I would remove it and treat the area. Question? Would anyone advise not to eat her eggs just incase there is a infection that hadn't shown up

    Maybe so. But sometimes people over look things . Some times we see the worst when its really isn't that bad. I find it hard to believe a screw is coming out of its guts and not affecting her . It doesn't look like it even rusted. You would think it would show signs of discoloring
