Due to covid, some places are not letting volunteers in to walk dogs and help out. You would have to contact the shelter you were interested in to see what their current policy is
It was actually verified by the vets I worked for. You guys don't have to believe me, I don't care either way.

If you are thinking of cocker spaniels, watch out for the tan or buff colored ones. For some reason, that color is more aggressive than the solid black. Have you thought about irish setters or gordon setters? Nice dogs
Just want to say, I have a weim, he will be one on Wednesday. SO MUCH ENERGY! For us, it's ok, we wanted a high energy dog. We do lots of hiking and working with him and stuff. But they are not for the owner who wants to sit still, def not a couch potato dog!
