    That's awesome. Im just getting back into raising chickens myself. I have polish, bantam cochins, silkies, bantam wyandottes, bantams brown leghorns, bantam buff orpingtons, and a few other breeds. All the members on here are great about offering advise.

    Aww that's so cute. Yesterday when I was cleaning our brooder cages I turned my back for a minute and my daughter had gotten "Red" our Rohde Island Red rooster out of the brooder and put him in my muck boot.

    Thanks. We also have silkies, RR reds, some americana pullets, and a few bantam varieties. Almost all the chicks are tame and eating out of our hands.

    Don't mind the shavings in the water. That was the first day I brought them home, I have since taken a 2.5 pound dumbbell weight and put it under the water to keep the shavings out.
