I gave my birds a homemade flock block i made for the first time! they loved it thought it would last if i hung it up but it didn't even last an hour. Oh well i had a lot of fun making it and watching them eat it.

I am going to try giving some oatmeal this morning to my rooster its got some flavoring but its so cold out their and it wont hurt to give him once in a while. The rest of my birds which i have A LOT of get scratch grains and leftovers that i have on cold days.

well i got a sample of a bird gel from a conference i went to. i tried it out today and my spoiled rotten rooster didn't like it but i gave it to the rest of the flock and they gobbled it right up! Nothing fancy at all but at least some liked it
