Thanks Sonja! ^_^
Our Central Oregon Poultry Swap is June 14th at the Terrebonne Grange Hall from 9 am- 5 pm. We have a few spaces left for those who are interested in being a vendor. Some of the vendors from the other side of the mountain are coming over and have their spaces and we have quiet...
I went to the summer swap. ..and I am hooked. Everyone was super friendly and everything was clean. Not to mention it supports the local breeders, bakers, and crafters, Looking forward to the next swap.
I was thinking of Black Orpingtons at first...not that rare but not as easy to find as a Salmon Faverolles. I wanted a breed that wouldn't mind being carried around or mind us around them. Then when looking online a Fav Roo caught my 5 year old's eye and she said that he was handsome. :D
awwww. That sucks. Maybe another time. I did request to join those fb groups. Not sure if I have been accepted yet. There are so many groups out there. How early should we show up?
We finally made it here in Terrebonne, Oregon from Florida and loving it here. It took us 11 days on the road to get here. The long road trip was very much worth it as we got to see how beautiful our country is.
We are working on the coop and yard and then it will be time to get a flock. :D...
