    Ugh! I knew it! lol I wish i had a set-up so I could keep ALL my roos. My neighbors all have them but don't think they would appreciate me having 6 or 7. Maybe I'm one of those weird people, and don't get me wrong I love my hens, but I REALLY love the roosters. I love their antics and personality.

    Anyone up for guessing Cockeral or Pullet? My chicks are almost 9wks old and my Lavenders and Blacks are clearly distinguishable, but my Jubilees are giving me some trouble. Or maybe I'm just in denial and don't want to admit I have any cockerals! ;) These are from Papa's Poultry, Gisbrechts...

    Congrats! My Jubilees chicks are only 6wks old, so long way to go yet. Only have three and hoping for two pullets and a cockerel!

    I am new to the English Orpington world, and just received my chicks yesterday. They are Jubilee, Lavender, Chocolate, and Black. My question is about the Jubilee chicks; 3 of them have chipmunk stripes while the other 2 are just yellow. Do done have stripes as chicks while others don't? Thanks
