Thanks everybody I have 1 lonely chick that was her "boyfriend". He was pitiful when I was outside with him today. I know he kept looking for her. I guess he decided that he would become friends with the ducks....poor baby.
I have some bad news... Sweet Pea didn't make it. I went to check on her just now and she had already died. I know I did all I could for her and I am satisfied with that. Atleast she is not suffering anymore. Thanks everybody for all your kinds words.... it really helped alote, and to all...
The wound is actually on the front of the leg right at the joint of the thigh. These pictures were taking with her almost on her back. I don't know how to explain it any better than that. I can see the bone and I know it is completly broken into. When I try to splint it in a natural position...
No she didn't mention skewers. I think I am going to go ahead with the Duramycin.... I don't have much choice right now.
I will post pictures and maybe somebody can help me figure out how to splint it. I am at a total loss.

Ok, thanks JJ... I have another question.... I have duramycin and Tylan 50 on hand right now.... can I use either of those until I can get something else?
I don't believe there is any internal bleeding. I have checked her poo and it seems normal. There is still a little drainage from the leg, but I knew there would be with an open wound.
So can I crush a baby asprin in a cup of water?
