Had to play Musical Muscovy this morning, as one decided to take over the other nest, and that one was completely confused about wt* was going on!
Got the miscreant onto her own nest, and the other back onto hers. And I didn't get bit!
For the OEGB? Absolutely no idea!!! But, the eggs from them that I set are now hatching, so I figure about a week behind? I will know when she starts moving around with little fluffers.
With nowhere to put it because of the mud. :(
And my daughter has all my small ones. Not the daughter I live with, the other one.
I have enough animals inside right now, I don't need broody hens, lol! Wait... The OEGB is inside and brooding...
Unfortunately, the set-up right now is less than optimal. They're in a temporary coop until the permanent one can be built. And that's not coming along very quickly due to weather.

Good thing I wasn't depending on them this year.
I know they have a lot of fans, but I've had them and I just don't get it. Okay, as chicks they are adorable pompoms. As adults, they can't see because of that crest and are not hardy because of those feathers. They are too small to make a good meal (imo) and you need three eggs to make one...
