I've got an exciting update. One of the pullets is laying! Don't know which one, I'm not going to ruin the relationship we've built by trying to catch them to find out, so I'll just have to wait it out. I'm betting it's Cruella though, in which case @Isadora you've won the bet

Well then I guess I don't belong here. But to be fair it seems like whenever I actually want hens to go broody they dont and when I dont want it I have more broody hens than I can count!

I use storage bins with a hole cut in the narrow side for access. BIG ones for the Muscovy.


Those would disintegrate so fast in my climate!
