Did you get a hydrometer? Without one I don't know how you can tell if it needs to go up or down! With all that going on how do you know if you've got it too high?

yes but you will be able to see when you candle it. You did good with the tape. Looking at this picture the hole doesn't look quite as big as the other picture made it look.

I'd say no, the egg breathes through all the pours in the shell so you can't block the whole thing.

if you are going to peel off the tape be very careful you don't break more of the shell off. you're going to have to hold the cling wrap on with something and you can't put it all over the egg because it has to breath.

Just for my own information could you put saran wrap on the egg in a case like this or is it too air tight?

He said tape but I think he meant scotch tape. I also don't think he thought the hole was so big.

that's a pretty big hole, it will be ok until @Isaac 0 comes back. Put it back in the incubator just like it is until he tells you. Hold on, you're doing great. While we're waiting for isaac where did you get these eggs? I know you probably said in your other post but I can't go back and look...

@Isaac 0 can you help. Her other thread got deleted somehow. You had told her to raise the humidity quickly or they would all die. I think she's got 1 left. I told her to get a hydrometer that's what I was thinking too. I asked her how big the hole was.

I've been helping you and wondered what the heck was going on! raise the humidity in that incubator however you can. Just don't let the towels or sponge touch the egg or it will cool it too much. How big is your hole?
