Ok, now that you have moistened it down, I would cover the hole with scotch tape.

that's a pretty big hole, it will be ok until @Isaac 0 comes back. Put it back in the incubator just like it is until he tells you.
Hold on, you're doing great. While we're waiting for isaac where did you get these eggs? I know you probably said in your other post but I can't go back and look at it.

The veins are very much active, I would cover all of the hole with tape, the air is still going to get in anyway, you're not going to be able to totally eliminate air from getting into the eggs with just scotch tape, very small holes/cracks will still be present.

They were in my backyard and we woke up one morning to find their mom was killed by raccoons. They’ve all been alive and doing great until this week. I’m so attatched to them i just want this last one to survive.

You are right, I didnt expect the hole to be so big.

To the OP, next time if this happens again, make the hole just small enough that you can see into the egg with a flashlight, if there are veins present leave it be, if not slowly open up more.
