Any experience with: gurgling, not eating or drinking, runny poo

Good morning, Today George has excellent stools, has a regular appetitive and even crowed a few times, which he barely attempted yesterday. Previously the majority of stools were still loose and wet. I am not hearing any gurgling or rasp. He has had 3 days worth of Baytril. Can I safely allow...

Georges beak is covered in treats and he's drinking plenty now. No real raspiness at all. Giving him the 2nd dose of baytril in an hour and that will be it. [VIDEO]

Sorry I'm late. George had a regular appetite and sounded very clear this morning. I didn't take a video on any pictures, my newly hatched chicks thought getting poo on them would be fun so I was cleaning them off. I will let you know how it all looks this evening. I'm curious, Kathy, do you...

George had plenty to eat this evening, and has not started back with any noises. He was alert and more himself and so far it seems like he's on the up. He did have a stool of better quality, also. I'll be posting another update in the morning.

I've read some articles. Not sure I could do it by myself. I am hoping if he will at least fruits or foods containing water that will help. He did drink a bit last night but nowhere near what he should. I'm interested to see if he starts up again in an hour or so.

Alright. I'm pretty dumb about chicken health but I do know a little about science. The vet gave me injectible baytril and said you can use 2-5 days. I know how antibiotics work. This is silly. So I have an undiagnosed chicken with not-that, maybe this and also a little of this, but nothing...

I know you've said already temp is possibly unreliable to check on chickens but the vet says anything over 104 is a fever and mercks vet manual says 105-109.5 is normal. I'm curious why chicken health is seems so dodgy...

I don't think I caught it. Just that it was a single dose. Should I request it?

Also this morning he doesn't feel like a 1 - I think I was in a state of paranoia last night as I was accepting that this was more serious, and potentially fatal, than I had originally anticipated.

I'm sending the video. He thinks inflammation of lower GI. He said he could get an injectible steroid and antibiotic but thinks that's a "Hail Mary"

The vet said he could have an issue with his GI tract and regurgitation that is causing his gurgling. Really nothing offered. So Kathy, how much do I owe you because you're working harder than him?
