Nightwhistle shot out of the bushes and threw himself onto his kits' pursuer. His jaws bit down on whatever they could grasp, and fur was shredded with neat precision. As he attacked, he was absolutely silent with efficient concentration, all the more deadly.
Badgerkit bristled irritably as he was engulfed by a swarm of antsy fluff. "Not so amazing if you get us all killed by announcing our presence, Goose."
Badgerkit opened his muzzle to mew a protest, but was silenced by a sudden mouthful of rotting leaves. As his mother forced him into the dugout earth, he was spitting with indignance.
But at her last words, he became still and complacent to have his littermates holed up alongside him.
"Dad and...
Nightwhistle's fur began to prick with the unnerving sensation of being followed. He swerved away from his family, tail settling low and stiffening as the unmistakable scent of tomcat -unknown- agitated his senses. "Go, go," he hissed urgently, his voice little more than agitated breath. "Go...
(alright
I obviously can't keep up because school is crazy this week. -_-
So, whenever something with Pearglow or someone else wants Nightwhistle-

Nightwhistle perched upon some nearby rock, motionless enough that not a cat noticed him. His ears flicked everytime a yowl burst from the queens' den, but otherwise, he might as well have been a charred stone.
Nightwhistle hissed one of his eerie laughs. "Isn't that contradictory to what an ailing queen is supposed to do? Sit tight and let the medicine cat look after you?" His gentle chastising barely concealed his amusement. Of course Pearlglow would be the rebel.
Nightwhistle heaved a barely noticeable sigh of relief and trotted up to her. "Where've you been?" Without waiting for a response, he boldly gave her a lick over the ear.
Nightwhistle nodded awkwardly, realizing that this could quickly become a situation he didn't exactly want to be caught up in. Taking the opportunity, he turned around and stiffly marched out to go find Pearlglow. It could never hurt to be an attentive mate.
Nightwhistle's eyes shot wide in surprise as Rainshadow limped by and redoubled, almost having pitched straight by him. Rabbit forgotten, he hurried after her in silent concern.
Auburnleaf appeared, and Nightwhistle shot a questionary eyebrow wag at her.
Nightwhistle emerged from a random yet convenient patch of brambles, holding a limp rabbit between his jaws and looking utterly confused.
