I used oil. I thought that might be more palatable. She didn't hate it.

Update, I only had to drain Todd once today in the afternoon. She holds so still. It must feel good to have that bump go down. Right now her head looks normal for the first time since she came out of the shell, so we are definitely making progress. I don't know why my vet has gone AWOL. But...

I tried on Friday. I called twice to take her in with no response. I sent pictures and asked for an appointment. I will try again tomorrow. This is an avian vet but she takes care of all !y other animals. I know another avian vet not too far but they are incredibly expensive. I'll update...

I do have some grow gel powder. I thought I would offer her some yogurt as well. Just looked at her now and it's already growing again. Don't know how successful I'll be getting the antibiotics down her but I will give it a try in the morning. She's such a sweet little thing.

Poop looks good. Everything is normal except her Big water head.

She seems happy. I went on duck dmv. Yikes, they had swollen head hemorrhagic fever when I put her symptoms in. :eek:

No just plain. I aggressively drained her head this morning by putting the needle in and then out like I was making a stch, then ripping it out. I cried. But she is much better. She's draining and hasn't swelled back up yet. It seemed to hurt me more than her as she squealed when I did it...
