Chicken math... just chicken math.

I was so excited the feed store near me had silkie chicks but I didn't end up getting any because they looked unhealthy. All of them had pasty butt! Something just seemed off about them so I didn't get them.

My kids don't like to dye eggs they are so weird. So each year I let them each take turns hiding the plastic ones around the house and yard.

So far I am wondering about Buff Orpingtons, Naked Necks, and Silkies. :P I would love EE in different colors though too. I have read those are all good for beginners.

Thanks! I just got in touch with a local poultry farm that is coming over next week to help me out. They are going to teach me everything I need to know and help me with building a coop. So excited.
