I hate wafer thermostats. Hate them. I try to stay away from them when possible. In the DIckey it is a necessary evil for backup.

The blinking is the thermostat regulating the heat - meaning the heating coils are on. Once the light is not blinking it has hit the set temp on the thermostat and holding. What I did was to turn mine all the way up and then back it down. It was at temp and holding in about 45 min. I have never...

Call Mr. Dickey and ask him when he can ship. Usually his turn around is very fast. I ordered mine on a saturday and it was ready to be picked up sunday afternoon after he got out of church.
