Can you find the predator in this pic?

Quote: That's interesting. What I'm hoping is that this hawk will move along when there is no food source available. (Keeping the girls locked up for a few days.) The other hawks have moved on, and I know they are migrating south right now. I wouldn't hurt it, I'm in the city for one, and...

Can you find the predator in this pic?

Quote: More likely that's territorial behavior instead of actual "guardian" behavior. It helps a little, but it's not the same thing Agreed. But it works for me! When we get, what we've coined as, "our farm" we want to get a GP or ASD. But for now we'll settle for our mutt Shiloh.

Can you find the predator in this pic?

Quote: Dogs don't really do that much to protect birds. The true LGD breeds are most active at night when the birds are locked up anyway, and they sleep a lot during the day when birds are roaming around, and most predators are sleeping I have a lab/mix. She's amazing. I heard her barking...

Can you find the predator in this pic?

Quote: I actually heard some crows today, for the first time in a long time... I'm kinda hoping they stick around. I will gladly throw them some feed if they chase away the hawks! The crows also enjoy bread. It seems they move in cycles, here one day, gone the next, returning the following...

Can you find the predator in this pic?

I wouldn't hurt it. They really are amazing creatures. And it's just trying to get dinner. I have some banties in the bator... Yikes! It was going after my ducks. It's just such a bummer having to keep them penned up. They get mad at me. (And make a huge mess when confined!)

It's a HAWK! I know, it's hard to see!! This a different one than the one that was hanging around. (yes, I can tell the difference between them.. it's weird.) These things are BRAVE!! Thank goodness I looked outside in time to see it making it's attack. We have lots of bushes and...

Look closely. I've never seen this one before. Luckily, I looked out just in time to see him coming towards my ducks. He was 3 feet from grabbing one. When I ran out there I threw him off and he flew away. One of these days... I'm not going to be so lucky. He was not deterred by my dog...
