We bought a 4' tall approx 300 ft long roll of 1x2 hardware cloth at ACE Hardware because they offer a military discount. Was for rabbit cages, but now it will be used for the birds. I wish we had a TSC in Missoula...

So we got a new hen, 4 new Scovies and 3 Runners. All 3 Runners (front) are supposed to be Drakes... I'm not sure on ONE. I got an adorable new decorative hen, so I thought she should meet "Minnie" the new uber-friendly hen :)

Oh yeah! It's a camper shell from my husband's FIRST truck when he was 16... Why does he still have it in his possession at 35? I have no idea. But It's a great roof for a coop :) We built that coop on a huge pallet, too- so it's movable if I ever want to relocate it. We got a few new birds...

Yay! We're starting to get eggs again :) I didn't use lights this year, and I stacked my hay in a bad place- so it blocked the sun from reaching the coop this winter. Oops! Looking forward to more and more eggs!
