Ya want one of my leghorn roos? I've got em in both exchequer and mf, both from Sandhill last year. I like the leghorns, but I've got too many projects going to wanna breed em.
Those frizzles don't even count as roos.

Darn. I'd be tempted to get more leghorns. But I reaaaaaaaallly don't wanna deal with more roos!
Lemme go look at the breed list, I'll see if there's anything I can't resist.....

Aaaaannnnnnndddddd.....do you need him for honorable purposes?
I have two bantam roos -- one is jen-u-wine wheaten Ameraucana, the other (his son) is wheatenish (his mom is a silver bantam EE). Both are definitely bantam sized, but I don't know how small you need. I'm not particularly...

Try Cher -- walkswithdog -- for silkies or sizzles. She lives in the Rockwood/Kingston area. As for frizzles, I've got two frizzled/curly bantam cockerels that need a new home. They are both sort of birchen in color. Let me know if you might be interested!
I just placed an order with Ideal for spring. If anyone living in my vicinity wants to share shipping and so on, just let me know and I can add whatever you want onto the order!
Have you checked with Edwards Feed? When I was talking to them about custom feed mixes they said they could add kelp, so you might be able to get it cheaper through them. Just a thought!
Ahhh, I found them. You've been posting to the TN Hobby Farms list, and I haven't read that list in the last week or so.
Send me emails directly -- I don't always keep up with the lists. I will probably be going to Knoxville on Tuesday!
Anybody got some very young turkey poults?
I've ended up with ONE baby sweetgrass turkey. He/she is just a few days old now. It's currently living with pheasant chicks, but I'd like to get just one or two additional poults to go with it.
I'd prefer royal palm or sweetgrass/calico, but I'll...
Hey J --
I don't have extra wheaten birds, but my flock oughtta be producing fertile purebred eggs before too long. The pullets that are already laying are from Ron Presley, the roos are from Bev Davis. The pullets are clean-legged, but the roos are feather-legged.

Nonono. He sells AMERAUCANAS, not Araucanas. They are different things.
To Chickenwisperer -- are you looking for bantam araucanas, or large fowl? I breed the bantams. I don't have any for sale at this very second, but I will eventually. I'm just east of Nashville.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Marans.
$60 per dozen is very reasonable for Marans. You can often see them being sold for much more.
I have three wheatens from Ron's line, myself. Also other Marans from other lines. But I'm not planning to part with any right now.
If you just want...

Hey, I saw your ad on craigslist.
Do a google search for Backwoods Poultry. They're in Niota, I think....anyway, between Knoxville and Chattanooga. I dunno if they do the blue version, but they have wheatens and I think BCs as well.
I've got wheaten and blue wheaten babies, but they...

I love the wellies too.
Right now, I don't have any purebred Wellie eggs -- except for the ones in the bator right now. I do have laying Wellies, but they and my current Wellie roo are currently housed in separate places -- thanks to my very slow pen-building!
I will eventually be...
I've mentioned it before, but I'll mention it again in case anyone didn't see it --
I have an order placed with Ideal, which should ship 3/25. If anyone wants to add onto that order, I'd be happy to share shipping costs. You would need to come to Lebanon to pick up the chicks, except that I...

There are swaps and sales in both Crossville and Cookeville, I think. Check the other TN-related threads for details.
As for Delawares -- I am currently incubating some Del eggs for another BYC member, walkswithdog. They are a GORGEOUS pink color. She got them somewhere in the E TN...
