Then the other type, which is more evenly light lavender all over with typical legbar patterning around the neck, and still a hint of color on the breast. Oh, I can't decide which I like better, they are both so pretty. If I can keep them both autosexing I won't have to choose. :)

This type is more colorful, beautiful creamy breasts, golden straw accents around the face and upper neck, contrasting lavender feathers around the lower back neck, like a cape.

I'm seeing two distinct feather/color patterns in the pullets. They are both so pretty I want to keep them all! However, I think lighter silvery pullets will yield better and more consistent autosexing. Next spring I plan to separate the types and see just what each type produces. I'm done...

This is currently my favorite rooster. I have so many favorites though. Well, all of these project roosters are my favorites.

I like the crests, big poofy "Madame Pompadours" as you put it ChicKat. They have a distinctive look, different than Polish. I'm not going for a Polish crest. I'm willing to tolerate crooked combs in the males in exchange for visually pleasurable hens. After all, the majority of most flocks...
