I did that with one of my coveted Wheaten Marans egg, out of the last hatch. I literally cried! Now instead of one lone pullet....I have two, 4 months apart in age and still no roos!

I have Basque pipping!! this hatch turns out better than the last two! Lots of them made it to lockdown, then died. I lowered humidity a bit this time....hope that's what the problem was.
