so far 28 hatched, and all but 2 in the brooder already. Had one chick die on me, never made it out after piping...he had pipped upside down (i didn't see or I would have helped)... there are 5 more eggs that I'm letting set until tomorrow (today only being day 21)...and we shall see.

so far I have 20 hatched and doing just fine, and there are 3 more that have deff pipped, and working on zipping...not sure if the others will be making it or not, but today is only day 20. I'm not giving up yet Will post pics VERY soon

I will admit, that I take them out as they dry. if they are dry, they get moved. Yes, this means opening the bator during hatching, but as long as you keep the temp and humidity up where it should be, i've never had any issues. I have 33 eggs....so if I tried to wait til all 33 were hatched...

woke up to 10 hatched this morning 1 that is zipped but not fully out. and a few others that are pipped they are beautiful I've only ever had RIR and Barred Rocks....this is so amazing with the Brown Leghorn...they are a beautiful color

FREAKING HEAT SPIKE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! up to 104!!! I had no choice but to lift the lid for a second to cool them down! they are all still chirping away, and many eggs rocking around like they are ready to pip. Here's hoping they are all ok with the heat wave!!! I don't think it was that...
