I'm into hatching 24 hours, 5 chicks one peeping and not coming out and 16 still looking like a normal egg. I sure hope some more hatch.... good luck everyone!

Help.....I'm on day 14 and all has been great, dry hatch temp at 99.5-100 and 35 humidity all the way, no water and today for some reason it spike two hours ago at 65% humidity and is staying there! Help.....

I put my LG in a pantry where the teps are always the same and have not had any flucuation in temps or humidity at all, happy so far, I have the fand and turner. On day 6.....
I'm also on day three with silkies, my humidity is 40 without adding water and I keep reading that you do not need water the first 18 days. Then I read other sites that say water first 18 days at 30 to 40 % ? I have steady temps and humidity the whole 3 days plus the test week. Am I ok...
I'm using air tubing, distilled water with red food grade dye so that I can see it and I outlined the three places to place the water with a black marker, I just put the tube down one of the removable red plug on top, very easy.....the dye really helps...

Ok, my incubator is now stable at 50% humidity and 99.8 after one day of setup. Now the question I have not seen answered, if I collect eggs that are at 45 degrees from being outside, so I bring them in and let them set and warm up or right into the incubator?
