Oh and if there was low temps they do develop slower, taking longer till hatch.

Hmm I'd wait longer. Try candling them, at this point you could see movement right at the edge of the air sack.

Congrats! They are too cute. Keep'm coming. You got some yellow ones there. My 1st batch came out all black and brown. Today my 2nd batch is due. Woke up and found one already zipped and just popped out of the shell. I have got an early bird! Surprising cause my first batch was all 2 days past due.

Yes, that's exactly what mine looked like. I know people will "hate" but I candled the air sack during lockdown and saw that their lil beak had broken into the air sack, eventually took the whole space of the air sack, then pipped and zipped.

Ya lol. Plus I remember there were moments that temp fell a lil below too so that made sense. I forget.. did you candle right before lockdown?

That sounds good, I would just leave it as is. Sit back and enjoy!

Starting incubation of button quail 1/20

If the temp falls below it will take the eggs longer to develop. Which temp is correct? If the 97-98 is the correct one then I would up it a lil till it gets to 100 then turn it back. Keep us posted.

Happy and excited to announce that all have hatched and are drying in the bator right now. One was faced the opposite direction and needed assistance due to not being able to zipp in that position.
