Hi guys! We have a GORGEOUS Giant Blue Cochin roo who my son raised and would love to sell or at the least rehome to sone who would give us some fertile eggs from him down the line in exchange. He is gentle with the ladies, and never has had a mean bone in his body. We just do not want a roo...

Doug we have two girls sitting too! So exciting! Our first time too. Our dark Brahma and blue laced red are both doing an amazing job. It took 7 full days before I got the dark Brahma off to poop and eat. She was mad at me but she ended up having a dust bath, scratching around and eating...

Seems the time of year for broody girls. I have an Australorp that is broody, I have been booting her out and today decided to put her out to free range. Since she is not laying (because she is broody) I don't worry about her needing the boxes. She was scaring the other girls a away from the...

I guess every I know with them loves them. But we all bought them knowing they were not a red sex link, so we were not expecting an egg a day. :) We are getting 8-11 eggs a day, with our oldest gals all but two laying. I can not wait for the day we get a dozen. Eek! The younger group is 18...

Hi guys! I thought I had 4 girls laying but it seems there are only 3. But they are all laying daily and the rest of my older girls have started messing with the boxes and are squatting like mad so I would guess we will have ALOT of new layers here in the next few days and weeks. So fun! Our...
