    I'm not expecting even half really, these are early eggs and a lot of new layers out there, a lot of them may not be fertile I haven't checked yet. Plus they are calls. If I get 10 out of the 40 it'll be a miracle lol.

    Yep. That's another reason I tell myself not to get one. Plus it would likely out live me and I don't think any of my kids would want it when I'm gone. Its so sad for them when they lose their owners!

    He could talk a little bit too if you listened closely. When he would nap on my shoulder sometimes I swear he would mutter "G** D*** bird" :hit I know he must have heard that phrase a lot. :mad:

    None of my budgies ever liked or wanted to be petted. I much preferred the cockatiels over them. One of the cockatiels I had I was warned when I got him that he was vicious and bit everyone. Turned out at his previous owners house the man who lived there was cruel to him. He only hated men...

    I really miss having a house bird. When I started in on ducks I agreed I would give up on wanting a parrot. Now, 20+ some ducks later, the hubby says he should've just gotten me the parrot :lau
