I have a trio just about ready to lay, but like stated, they are a bit smaller.

Here are a few quick shots of blue bresse pullet, cockerel and splash cockerel. They are still quite young. I'll get more uploaded soon!

I'm planning on it as soon as they start laying - I have the blue bresse mix from greenfire, so I have splash, black and blue. The blues are really gorgeous! They are almost 4 months old, so as soon as they start laying and I can confirm fertility, I'll be posting here.

I received them from greenfire farms May 13, so about 5 weeks old or so. I won blue bresse, but they mistakenly sent white bresse, then sent the correct order after that. I think I made out quite well and they were great to work with!! I have 5 roos from my personal hatch, and those eggs came...

If anyone wants some extra roos just let me know.... I have scads of them and we intend to eat them if no one wants any :)

My Bresse are starting to get really interesting!!! They are some of the friendliest of the flock!

I looked on greenfire, and the post there for bresse says that the legs start yellow and turn blue over time. None should be buff though...

Only one bresse hatched from my original hatch, but I have 11 more in the incubator that are looking good - one week to go! I also won a rarebreed auction and my new babies arrived yesterday: 2 white, 5 black, 2 splash and 5 blue!!! Can't wait to see how these guys turn out.
