I've been hardening off my seedlings for awhile now. I plan on keeping them out overnight now. I need to find out if they will make it or if I will have to buy plants
Got my onions in today. Planted them by my blueberry bushes, they are good companion plants. I need to get my broccoli in but I started it from seeds and they are pretty little yet
Got my spinach and lettuce planted, in large rectangular pots. I also need to do my onion sets but haven't yet. But I also weeded my flower bed, felt good to get that done
My seedlings came up quick but they are very leggy and weak. Not too happy. But I repotted quite a few and turned off the heat mats, read that when the soil gets too warm, they get leggy. Hoping they get stronger, it's getting too late to start any more
Didn't get to do my seeds today. My sister and I went to a craft show then did some shopping. We had a very nice time. I'll do my seeds tomorrow, supposed to be cold, snowy, and windy. Great day to dream about spring
I can't get any of mine outside until at least Mother's Day, usually later. We've had snow on Mother's Day more often lately so I don't want anything out too early
I've started seeds before but just from seeds I bought, never from what I've saved. Usually they do bad for me and I end up having to buy starts anyway. I bought grow lights and heat mats this year so I'm hoping for more success. I also have my peppers that I over wintered if the seeds don't grow
I'm going to start my seeds tomorrow. I'm getting very anxious and I figure, this will give me time if some don't come up. The romas and pepper seeds that I saved from last year have me a little worried, just because I've never saved seeds before
