Hi there. I have recently learned a little about Oxine. I was reading a article someone posted and they use it in the chicken water containers. They said it keeps the slime down. Also it is used to treat birds with respiratory symtoms. I have also read that is is very good for cleaning coops and all around the coop area.

I also own a rabbitry. Would I be able to use the Oxine is my rabbits automatic water system?

And where is a good place to buy it?

Thanks is advance you guys!

Yep, you can use it with rabbits. The cheapest I found it was with atozpetsupply. Also i just go a memo for a sale on it somewhere.............. I'll have to look.

I order it from First State Vet Supply. It is $21.95 for a gallon..That's a good price..I use it all the time...

Yeah, i think that is who had in on sale................

I use it to clean the coops, spray down anyone that even looks off, put it in the waters, clean the feeders and water pans, spray myself down between handling different cages etc....

Cool, nice to know. So there is no span of time I have to wait after spraying the Oxine & putting chickens in the coop is there?

as mixed for spraying the coop (without activator - 6 oz per gallon of water) you can spray it directly ON the chickens. helps with the respiratory stuff. Oxine is wonderful stuff - I need to buy some more before I run out.

Another good use is flushing the beaks of birds with respitory diseases.

I just ordered a quart of it here for $7.95. What they don't tell you is the shipping and handling on that quart was $12.50!! I almost

!! The shipping is like that on every site I found that carries it.

I've searched my town over to find someone who carries this. It's good, good stuff, just so stinking spensive to ship.

Revival Animal Health carries it for $24.99 with 6.99 shipping. However, realize that shipping costs vary depending on distance.
