Helping the Swedish Flower Hen

do u guys think these are hens or roos? Ive l;ooked at numerous photos, these guys are confusing. I have a hen with no comb or wattles and ive seen pics where the hens do have combs and wattles and the roosters have huge combs and wattles? Ugh i cant have a field of roosters lol
This is my hen Gwen

By the way Gwen was not born with slpit wing, a dog broke in and mauled her and her feathers have never grown right after that, we almost lost her, but i just wanted to clarify since i know you guys are wanting to cull that out, which i agree with....i just wanted you all to know that shes a victim of the K9 race lol.

Hi Justin,

I just found this thread as well. I have four adolescent SFHs. Three I hatched from a breeder in Florida and a roo I purchased from Bulldogma at Gilmanor this spring. I have recently (last Sunday) hatched three chicks from hatching eggs from Bulldogma. Pictures can be seen in my signature section. Count me in on the conservancy effort.

Awesome glad to have ya! I gotta get working on this again Ive been so busy lately...but these birds are worthy of my spare time! what is the name of the breeder in Florida this is where I live I might have to get in contact with this person!

Justin,

I got my hatching eggs on eBay from Raymond Valentine in Old Town, FL. If you need further info, I can PM you since I have the NPIP form that was required to ship to Virginia.

Hi everyone! I know I'm piggy-backing on an old thread, but wanted to add my little flock. A girl in Dover, PA was selling SFH from craigslist and I got five. She said these were 2nd generation from her Greenfire SFHs. I lost them soon after a very strange fox incident. I still don't know how that happened.

After super-fortifying my bigger coop...

I got two more SFH in June and 2 SFX crossed with Blue/splash Marans. They are the most friendly, personable chickens! I love them! I can't wait to see the eggs. I only have a retired (7 year old) silkie mutt roo and don't want any crosses from him, so I hope to get a roo from her next year! I'll have to post some pics.
