Here is the dog I got after her, he was supposed to be a guard dog, attacked almost every dog he met 🫣 but the one time he was supposed to guard us ( neighbors dog came over, he was a „rescue“ and attacked us, he sat in front of the door and let me do the defending with a rake I luckily had in my hand 🤪) he never barked or snarled, he just grabbed the strange dog 😬 so, after a while I only went outside with him very early in the morning, when he was almost 13, he got a stroke, he survived the first attack and after that, got along easier with other dogs …he had disgraced himself with one of his previous owners by eating the goats/sheep he was supposed to be watching, he also lulled me into a false sense of security about the chickens, at first, he was eager to have a go at them, after a while, he ignored them, so I thought we are good to go, I still was supervising him, then one early morning a young rooster escaped from the coop, he had him by the neck in a flash, I thought, this was it, then the rooster opened his eye, so I had to do the rest 🥺 that was also his characteristic, he looked like a sleeping teddy bear one second, the next instant, he would be chasing something full speed, since he didn’t make any noise while running ( he sort of glided) I couldn’t ever let him off leash 🤷🏻‍♀️

For such a tall dog, she looked tiny when she lay in her basket ( she loved it! My present dog hates baskets, so after hoping for 3 years she would get used to them, I threw them all out) she just folded her legs under her, and was a small dog 😅
I love her so much!🥹 thanks for sharing!! She was so pretty! And I love the long legs.

Wow that sounds like such a headache. I’m sorry he was a pain.

Yea, I felt sorry for him too, he wasn’t really the right fit, I tried to rehome him, but nobody was interested ( I was honest about him) I always thought maybe there is someone out there that can find a connection to him, the dog pension‘s owner ( I put him in a dog pension during our vacation after I stepped into a puddle of his making at night in a rental home in Denmark, while on vacation 🙄) had a good connection, but he bred german Shepherds and wasn’t interested 🤷🏻‍♀️ that he never was 100% housebroken wasn’t his fault either, previous owners lived in a totally run down castle they had purchased from the government for the symbolic sum of 1€, they only had 2 habitable rooms they lived in, if he had to go potty, they sent him up or down the stairs , I kid you NOT !

I'm glad you gave him as good a life as you could 💗 every dog deserves a chance!
