Hey guys! I just finished watching Sherlock, Series 3 on PBS, and wondered what any of you thought of it. So...what did you think?

Dissapointed.
If I was new to the series, I would have had no idea what was going on! And what was up with all the weird, inserted bits about how the producers could re-write last season's ending to bring him back??????? Not at all up to par with previous seasons!

Season premiere last night on PBS.
I started, watched about halfway through, then got bored, I guess, because I fell asleep. Didn't like all the jumbled inserts etc. Storyline was ok., but just not PBS Masterpiece quality.

Nah, not on Netflix for months yet, I'm betting.
I thought the seasons wasn't great. Visually it was pretty (lots of neat camera tricks that don't appear in most movies or shows), but the stories weren't paced that well and I mostly kept watching so I could discuss the season with other people if necessary.

I was confused a lot. I know that PBS cuts out 8 minutes from each episode to make room for sponsors, so I wonder if that's what's wrong. I did however like it when John head butted Sherlock though. 
That is disappointing that after the wait more people are not thrilled with the out come.
You would think they had the time to get it together. They were all busy on the hobbit, I guess.

So what did you think BellChell?
I thought the catching-up bit of the episode was a little bit too drawn-out but I guess since it isn't gone into much in the original stories, I figure they felt it was prime time for artistic license. Hopefully the next episode is back to business as usual.
