Hey everyone! Looks like this thread has been quiet for a while but I've got a question for the experienced brahma breeders on here.
I plan to start breeding brahmas in the spring. I got the highest quality birds I could find to start out with, but obviously none are 100% perfect. There's no vulture hocks, split wings, or wrong comb types so they're good on those major defects at least. Everyone carries their wings nice and high too. The areas I can see that are lacking are tail carriage and shape (some low set, and more peaked Us and wide Vs than any really good Us), and some have a weaker brow than they should. Are these traits easier to improve over generations than it is to breed out other undesirable traits, like vulture hocks?
