Just leave it set up in the middle of the table with an extension cord plugged in.
That is why I said to use an extension cord. One option is to fasten the extension cord to the ceiling and let it drop down to the table so you aren't tripping over it.There isn't an outlet near the table.
I was at the Co-op Store about 20 miles from our house...my daughter always gives me gift certificates from the store....and theI was at the Mennonite store this weekend, even the vanilla extract there is over $26 a bottle. Sheesh, that stuff is getting golden, I'm going to have to start saving the "Good stuff" for only the good bakery. Cheap stuff for pancakes and such.
I leave my Kitchen Aid in the corner on the kitchen counter. Do NOT leave plugged in. And I know I did share this with you. One day when I went to use...it did NOT work. My fix-all husband took it apart. It was a worn small gear. Called Kitchen Aid...no parts there. Found a company on line...they had a gear...sent it ...the small part was $6.00 and $9.00 to ship. He got it..put the mixer together with the part. AND it works like new.Just leave it set up in the middle of the table with an extension cord plugged in.
Do you think there is a ground issue?OUr kitchen has enough outlets, I guess. The one on the right side of the sink will not run some things - like the vacuum cleaner or blender. The outlet under the dish cabinet works - sometimes. The outlet in the dining area of the kitchen is a remodel box and has let loose from the wall on the bottom. There is one at the entrance to the kitchen, but no cabinet nearby so it has the night light in it. That leaves me 1 outlet in the kitchen area, over the counter that I can use for the mixmaster, food processor, crockpot, etc. It is too far from the stove to use it in a pan on a burner.
Kitchen aid mixers are nice that way!I leave my Kitchen Aid in the corner on the kitchen counter. Do NOT leave plugged in. And I know I did share this with you.
