I am a new chicken mommy. I have 4 silkies (JJ, Pebbles, BamBam, Black Betty) , 2 golden sebrights (Lucy and Lacey), and 1 unidentified breed who is named Little Ugly One. I got her from TSC from the assorted bantam bin and I’m not sure of the breed. She’s around 6 weeks old now. And I’m...
Hey guys. I’ve only had chickens for a year, spring came and I added to my flock. I figured out this morning this handsome little guy is a rooster from him raising his hackle feathers and keeping the other chicks in line when they were acting out. So what breed is he??
We had a bad hatch this year under a new broody hen so after only ending up with two chicks I went to the local feed store to see what they had. I ended up coming home with 12 chicks: one naked neck, 3 crested chicks, and 8 random bantams. The feed store gets all their chicks from Ideal...
And now for a 2nd chick from the assorted bantam bin. I realize, that at 2 weeks, it is too early to know for sure which breed of bantam she is. So, instead I'm asking what are the different possibilities.
*She stands like any standard chick.
*Clean, yellow legs.
*Mostly yellow/white. Though...
This little chick was in a bin of "Bantam - Assorted" at my local feed store. I also picked out an apricot-colored feather leg and a Frizzle feather leg, but I've only gotten pics of this clean-legged white chick so far. I was hoping someone would be able to tell what breed she is, I think...
Alright guys it’s that time of year again! So I bought a bunch of chicks from Tractor Supply’s bantam assortment. I have been able to figure out what all the other breeds are except for these 2.
The grey, white, and yellow one is extremely tiny and has feathered feet.
The second one is...
This is Little Bit, I got her from the mixed bantam bin at TSC last Feb so she's almost a year old. Her sister went broody this week and she tried to follow suit! I've not been able to figure out what breed she is and wondered if anyone knows.
I bought these 3 at an atwoods in oklahoma. They are about 3 weeks old as of 05272018. The white one came out of the standard pullet bin, the other two came from the Bantam straight run bin. The tan one with some feathers missing around the neck was larger than the others to begin with so not...
These gals are about 3.5 months old, from Atwoods, st run bantams. I am pretty confident they are all pullets. I would love to know what breeds they are though?? I am having a hard time finding a good bantam breed identification source online. Thanks in advance!
#1 has clean, yellow legs, no...
hi everyone! We’ve hatched 4 shipped eggs and two of our own. The four shipped eggs were a mixed selection of pure breed bantams and could use some help figuring out who is what.
1. Large and boisterous
Think it could be light Sussex?
2. Small and cheeky
Barred Plymouth Rock?
3. Had help...
I got these little cuties from TSC and am trying to figure out what they are. We were told they were Bantams ( unknown type) and Ameracaunas but I don't actually know( this is our first set of chicks). Please and Thank You in advance for the help.
So my husband surprised me with 5 new bantam babies...now I have 16 in total and I LOVE THEM! My new 5 are different from my other 11, they are adorable, 4 have feathered feet and 4 toes with feathering. One has non feathered feet and 4 toes. I love all my babies! Proud chicken mom!!❤❤❤❤...
these are about 5 days to 1 week old Bantams from tractor supply. Super cute and sweet. Any guesses on breeds of these little guys?
Chick 1: five toes, feathered legs
Chick 2 (aka Dobby): feathered legs, largest chick of the group
Chick 3 (aka eeyore): feathered legs
Chick 4 (Harry)...
I went to Tractor Supply today. I shouldn't have, because...they had Turkens! :celebrate
Chicken math got me! I now have 6 Turken chicks (all different colors/patterns) and 2 free bantams.
My husband is out of town right now
But I couldn't resist them :wee

Also he has slight of an attitude.. Lol
I got 9 bantam babies yesterday from Tractor Supply. They’re roughly 5-7 days old from what I’ve been told (but they maybe seem a little closer to 1 1/2- 2 weeks based on their wing feathers). I think I have somewhere between 5-6 breeds. Let me know if you have any idea what they are! (I added...
