I'm a first time chicken owner I've only had my chicks for a week. I initially intended to buy four silkies. I've only realized that only two of the four chicks are silkies and I believe the other to are brahmas. I was wondering. Will I have any compatibility issues with the silkies and brahmas...

Are those giant brahmas a breed? Or just a fluke? I want to get some of the very large ones, but no idea where to even start looking. Hatcheries tell me they have 8lb average birds, I'd like to get something in the teens. Anyone have any idea? Thanks!
