I don't currently use a PM. Which one should I use, I don't want AOL, and does it cost anything? Sorry, I don't use this computer much, really only to check email and check this site. Are all of the PM compatible?

Um, nevermind, I guess I automatically have something that allows PMs. Sorry for the stupid question.

Ya just open up the message that you have sent or received and on the bottom right hand corner of the message click the delete button .......bye bye message

PM is not an instant message, it is private message, which is like an email that you access and use here on the BYC site only. It is a convenience more than anything. If you get a lot of emails from members here then it is a place to keep them all confined.
No it doesn't cost anything. It is a feature Rob got sponsors to pay for.

I got one, and sent one....it's works great! This is awesome, might cut down on some of the wondering topics too.....

Is what I'm seeing true with the PM's ? That you don't know if you have gotton one unless you click on the message tab when you are logged in .....It would be nice if it would show a message next to the message tab Example Message (2)....But other then that I love it.

Messages are pretty private. None of the moderators have access to them and there isn't a way for anybody to access them through the forum.

With this said, PM's are stored in a secure DB on the server, but if we get complaints about spamming, stalking, harassing, etc. I will pry open the database and peek around.
