I have horse friends but, I live like 30 minutes out of town one way, two live in town, and the other live like 30 minutes out of town the other way. Of the two in town, one has horses in another city that's like an hour away, and I'm not sure where the other one's horses are.

Aw. I suppose I'll meet some people. The only one that goes to my school is some rich girl, and I'm guessing she's snobby.

Hm, you never know.

I'll have a chance to meet her next year when I join the Eq Team, I guess.

I'll have a chance to meet her next year when I join the Eq Team, I guess.

Your are so lucky. All I can do is ride western. Jeans, boots, and hats. Bareback with a snaffle from the co-op. You can jump and do dressage and all that cool stuff. All I can do is trail rides.

I can barely even take my gelding anywheres.

Duce reminds me of a filly we used to have that we sold.

She was a cribber and I'm afraid that she'll end up at an auction. She was a paint, and we used to pick her hooves while she was laying down all the time(I just cleaned Duce's hooves while he was laying down), they even have the same color of parents! She was just like him.

The thing is, when I switched to English and decided to do lessons, I couldn't lease and do lessons. D: I'm just worried that since my trainer is going to college next year, that I'll have to go to one of the less-experienced one. I am grateful that I can switch around, but I'd so trade to have a gelding and a little colt like you do!

Maybe... Just maybe, you can work on training your colt to be an all-rounder. Maybe trails and some English flat or jumping on the trail!

We couldn't afford to take lessons or lease. I'm glad I have Dez and Duce, but I wish I could do something. I don't know how to jump, and I probably couldn't train him to jump anything. I don't have anybody that could teach me either. I doubt I could even sit it. (Although, when my gelding started bucking a while back, mom said I stayed on for a least three good bucks, bareback

) My town doesn't have anything like an equestrian team. If it did, I wouldn't be experienced enough to join it.

I can barely handle my crazy Peruvian as it is. And he's really old! DX

I've only been riding for like maybe 5 or 6 months, and my horse completely flipped out in the Christmas parade. That's really embarrassing.

I can never ride with any of my friends because my horse goes nuts, and I usually can't handle him.

I wonder if we made a mistake buying him. If he hadn't come up, I would have gotten a big paint gelding. I'll always wonder about that.

Your are just really lucky. Don't worry, you'll get a horse someday.

I'm sure of it.
