Hi all! I'm new to BYC and new to chickens... but I'm a lifetime horse enthusiast. I don't have a horse now but I'm about to move to a rental house on a 300 acre horse farm. The owners only have 4 horses currently, but I'm seeing some promise for my own future in horses - LOL!

In the mean time, here's some of my horse art... I drew the original one (pencil & paper) about... um... 27 years ago?? (Eeek!) And then I scanned it and modified it recently with my computer art pad

Ah, I took these a while ago and I thought you guys would like to see this. The red dun is Molly, the mare I lease, and the bay/seal brown critter is Jeeves, a gelding who shares a pasture with her.












And this last one here is Shadow:

Thanks, and we got the shoes pulled and her hooves trimmed, but she still has no heel, so it'll be at least 2 weeks before i'm going to try riding her.

Thanks! I met up, sorta, with a girl the other day, who used to love her horses and ride them tons, now she's more or less "forgotten" them out in the pasture, for her friends and her boyfriend. We rode through their property and one of the horses was literally begging to be ridden! It was sad.
