It's not - it's one of those dumb, corny movies where nothing EVER goes wrong, and people just breeze through getting along with everyone else and nobody dies.

Those stories are called Fluff, Flare. There's nothing wrong with writing a little Fluff! Properly executed, it can become the pinnacle of Fluff, also known as Sweet Dreams Fuel. A very good example of Fluff is Binchou-tan. Admittedly, the girl has issues (She's dirt poor and raising herself after her grandmother died) but she is kind and lives with her life very well! She even makes some new friends.

So don't worry about your movie!

Fluff stories are great! They are like a break from the broken dreams, lost goals and the plans gone awry in seemingly most of what I read!
