Hi Birdnut! Ugh, I have just caught sight of my hair in a reflective surface. I'm at school, in the library, and my hair resembles a tangled bunch of spinifex grass.
Yes, indeed, I have just been on a day-long geography excursion in which we trampled over dunes mapping vegetation using quadrats, drew diagrams of marinas and fed chips to a group of seagulls with extremely violent temperaments.

It was! I had a good time

Me and my friend hung back from the rest of the group when we saw a man hauling in a squid on the pier - he let me hold it on the line while my friend took a picture

On our trip we had a field trip booklet with pages for notes and sketches and prompts on what to do, so I would guess so. And lots of water.

The importance of bringing those items depends on where you're going, but still, it's a good idea anyway.
