Good, cause I am absolutely horrible with naming animals.

That is why our Welsummer is named Welsummer and our boy cat is name Boy-cat, he's been called that for years now.

You're forewarned that I come up with weird names, like the cats our named Blue Eyes (who doesn't have blue eyes), Magra, Rex, Spot, Otter, Carmel, and Butterscotch.

I do give my self the excuse of I wasn't that old when I named her (probably about 5 or 6) and she did keep her blue eyes a little longer then most. But I'm glad you like them.

I have never seen a young kitten ours were both older by the time they got here.

Blue Eyes was the result of my first cat Persian (showed up when I was 2 as a kitten) and my second The Black Cat (showed up a few months before Blue Eyes birth and lived off our beagles food for a time), The Black Cat hid her and her brother Cutey until they where a few weeks old. Later she had a second litter of 6 in our living room, then she disappeared when they were grown.

Blue Eyes has had many litters over the years and I've seen the births of many of them (she had a thing for having them in my bedroom), we found homes for some, some dissappered, and some lived out their lives with us. I can think of two of her daughters off the top of my head who had kittens her Shadow and Star. But her last few litters had very few survivors or in the case of the last one none (both were stillborn). But she has stopped getting pregnant due to her age and the rest of the cats our male, who we are working on getting neutered (Magra has been for a few years and Caramel and Butterscotch are scheduled for surgery in march)

Here is a picture from about 3 years ago, she delivered on the same day I got my first chickens, Reeses, M&M, and Snickers at about 3-5 wks:
